My beloved Alma Mater, Carleton University, saw its unparalleled and unprecedented sports streak come to an end. We actually won something. The Ravens took The CIS Men�s Basketball Championship in Halifax, ending the school�s historic run of never ever winning ANYTHING! (Note: I�ve since been told C.U also won Men�s and Women�s Nordic Skiing titles earlier this year, but apparently no one noticed, which made the skiers very angry. Don�t make skiers angry. They carry sharp poles.) In the aftermath of these victories, I became overwhelmed with emotion. I mean�WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING!?! Decades spent perfecting futility, and they throw it all away?!? Talk about disrespecting your alumni.
