Denman Island and The Pianist

Here's to using this blog as a verbose twitter clone: Spent yesterday and today on Denman Island. For a cluster retreat. The first time that I've visited one of the Gulf Islands. Tonight I'm back in Courtenay and I went to see pianist Sarah Hagen play at the Sid Williams theatre. She played Rachmaninoff (merely good) and Claude Debussy (stupendous, blissful). And now I'm downloading a number of Debussy torrents.
