The Lantern Festival and The Forest

The Cumberland Lantern festival was bone-chillingly cold and wet and snowy and the shadow dancing was graceful and the poi delightful and the fireworks oh-so-close-that-you-can-reach-out-and-touch-them (figuratively). We toured a sustainable logging operation this afternoon and I was really able to probe for a lot of detail; I love satisfying my curiosity and asking good questions. : )
